United States Basketball Network Names Benefits With Basketball the Official Charitable Organization of the USBN

The United States Basketball Network (USBN) today announced Benefits With Basketball as its Official Charitable Organization, aligning the league’s national platform with a nonprofit mission focused on youth mentorship, healthy physical habits, and social-emotional development. Through this partnership, USBN will mobilize its extensive network of professional coaches and players to deliver clinics, mentorship, and community programs powered by Benefits With Basketball across the country.

Benefits With Basketball creates safe spaces where young people are seen, heard, and supported—never turning a child away due to financial barriers. With USBN’s reach and infrastructure, the organization will scale programs including school visits, skills and fitness sessions, leadership workshops, and ongoing mentorship led by vetted coaches and pro players.

Critically, the partnership recognizes that many coaches and players in non-NBA professional basketball are undervalued and underpaid. Benefits With Basketball will compensate coaches and players for their time and expertise delivering youth programs—providing dignified income that helps subsidize part of their overall compensation while they make a measurable difference in local communities.
