ATLANTA, GA — September 8, 2025 — The United States Basketball Network (USBN) is proud to announce the Atlanta Defenders as an official entrant in the 2026 USBC Champion League, the top tier of USBN’s national competition launching in May 2026. The Defenders will compete in a 12-team, 22-game season, with league action carried live on USBNtv. The Champion League winner is recognized as the No. 1 pro team in America (outside the NBA), while promotion-and-relegation will see the bottom three clubs move to Level 2 for 2027—raising the stakes every week.
